About Our Organization
The Orange/Seminole Foster Children's Association (OSFCA) is a 501(c)(3) corporation made up of foster and adoptive parents living in Orange and Seminole counties.
We strive to be a support group for foster parents and parents who have adopted
children out of the foster care system. We also seek ways to support the children in
their care. We meet monthly to provide guidance and emotional support, ongoing
training, respite, or sometimes just an empathetic ear. We share resources and ideas
to ensure all families have the best opportunities and resources available to help the children in their homes become self-sufficient and productive members of society, regardless of each child’s
past.
We welcome inquiries about our association, while respecting the confidentiality and
privacy of our families and the children in their homes. If you have any questions, you
may reach our officers by mail or at

A Gracious THANK YOU to the Edgewood Police Department!A Big Thank You! On Tuesday, November 29th, 2011, sergeants and officers at the Edgewood Police Department volunteered to help the Orange/Seminole Foster Children’s Association. There were several kids bikes donated to the association in boxes for Christmas. The Edgewood Police Department volunteered to put together the bikes so foster parents wouldn’t have to on Christmas day. We are so grateful to them for their time, thoughtfulness and giving spirit to the kids and families in our community!

Interested in Donating? One way to support the OSFCA families, is to help offset the costs associated with raising children today. Therefore, we do all that we can to get the communities in which we live involved in our projects. This may include our back-to-school supply drive, collection of new items such as diapers, socks, underwear, pajamas and sneakers for new placements, funding to cover high school senior expenses (prom costs, yearbooks, class rings, caps and gowns, etc.) and scholarships for tutoring and extra curricular opportunities. We also rely on the assistance of the community to help with OSFCA family events throughout the year. Our association hosts private recreational events for all our foster and adoptive families every season. Your donations can provide food, fun and festivities at these well attended events! As early as the summer, we begin gearing up for our annual holiday gift drive. We seek sources that are willing to offer Angel Trees with wish tags in their places of business. These tags have a child’s name, age, gender, and a gift suggestion on each of them. Last year, our communities helped us provide gifts for almost 400 children. Please consider us when selecting an organization to serve central Florida children during the next Christmas Season.
